Non-Mainstream Music?
Anyone listen to less popular music? I've just started to recently since there's no music for rock and all the such since rap is sadly been taking over. I sure hope it dies off real soon
Anyone heard of Dragonforce? I think it's a UK band but they play their crazy electric guitar and fast paced drums for like 7 minutes each song, but it always changes so it never gets boring to listen. Also, there's Elvenking, some Elven-Folk Metal/Rock band, lol! It's like any metal/rock but with like, an elvin violin it's funny.

Yup... I'm a death metal kid. Except I'm not one of those creepy goth people. I just happen to like death metal (and just about every other bit of metal also...).

I love Dream Theater and, despite their being around for ~20 years and having a few videos on MTV [back when they actually played music videos] have never really been mainstream.
Also some non-mainstream industrial, like Das Ich and :wumpscut:.

'Dear Liza' a horrible horrible Dave Matthews Clone...but their Guitarist is amazing.
Oh and 'Razing Sons' <---- very very cool rock group. You should check out their song 'Deal wit it.' They have two lead singers (kinda like Linkin Park), but the music is really unique.

Most of my stuff is from the 60's, 70's, and 80's so they are quite unpopular for people my age.

Same here, I guess. I listen to a lot of blues music like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clapton, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, BB King etc. I'm always on the lookout for a new band to fall in love with.
I checked out Dragon Force and they remind me of Japanese anime soundtracks.
